Living in Hurghada - information about flats

You want to rent a flat in Hurghada - have a look at this information!!

• a small studio (1room, bathroom, kitchen), with furniture costs per month between 1000 and 1800 L.E. (~125 -240 Euro) -egyptian style is cheaper than european style, flats in El Hadaba are more expensive than in Sherry Street or El Dahar
• normally you pay 1 month rent for insurance
• the doorman and electricity cost additionally between 60 and 200 L.E.
  
• you can ask a Real Estate Company to offer you a flat- of course you have to pay a commission -it is normally 1 month rent is commisson and 1 month insurance
• (look at SpotRedSea.com, click "Browse" and go to "Real Estate" -there you find a lot of addresses)
• if you have egyptian friends here let them search a flat for you:-), they get better prices
  
• if you are alone stay some days in a cheap hotel (~20 Euro per night, e.g. in Sheraton Street there are some) and ask the doormen if there are flats available. Normally they do not speak English but believe me: if you want to rent a flat they will understand somehow
