The Paradise on Earth!

Oh! The Maldives. So far, I didn't meet someone who didn't dream of visiting the Maldives. I am not surprized, as it is the Paradise on Earth as they say in Male; the Maldivian capital. This reputation has solid roots as Maldives is famous for its natural beauty which includes the blue ocean and white beaches, accompanied by pleasant temperatures.

The Maldives is an island nation consisting of a group of atolls (island of coral that encircles a lagoon partially or completely) in the Indian Ocean. The climate of the Maldives is ideal for visitors to get engaged in water sports such as swimming, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, water-skiing and windsurfing. Due to its extraordinary underwater scenery and clean water, Maldives is also ranked among one of the best diving destinations of the world.

The Maldives is the World's flattest country, it has a maximum natural ground level of only 2.3 m, though in areas where construction exists this has been increased to several metres. Unfortunately, the ocean is likely to continue rising and this threatens the existence of Maldives; hence, you'd better hurry and visit the Maldives to enjoy it in full!
The Maldives is located south of India, and about seven hundred kilometers south-west of Sri Lanka. The Maldives' twenty-six atolls covers about 300 km², some of which are inhabited by local communities (about 300,000 persons).
