Living in Hurghada – what about a health insurance?

Hi again:-D

Yesterday I went by taxi to meet a supplier at his property. The taxi driver was one of the ten thousands Michael Schumachers in Hurghada. Although I was trying to convince him to drive not so fast by shouting: “schweia schweia”(slowly, slowly) he kept on racing! I had the song “highway to hell” in my mind and felt really dizzy. After getting out of the taxi I realized that the time for a health insurance has come!! No more excuses, it has to be fixed! Otherwise..you never know I could look like Ramy, hehe (but this was just Halloween, don’t worry:-D)

My German health insurance expired and now I have to choose between several offers here in Egypt which are specially made for foreign residents. The price for a complex package is about 1500 LE per year (~190 Euro). You get the insurance at the Nile Hospital, El Gouna Hospital, El Salam Hospital and Red Sea Hospital in Hurghada.

Search the hospitals on our website: www.spotredsea.com! If you have any questions write us an email (we launched our questions & answers section:-D last week!!)

But hopefully we will never have to use our insurance –just having it to feel assured:-D

Bye bye
